I was only 5 years old when 9/11 happened. I was in kindergarten. I don't remember anything that happened in the morning when I was with my mom but I do remember my teacher told us to go under our desk and wait until a parent was there to pick us up. My mom was in college that day and was late to pick me up so my grandma came and I went to her house. Years later my uncle told me that he worked in the second twin towers and when the first one got hit his boss had gold everyone to remain calm and my uncle obviously didn't listen and he ran out of there as soon as he could. Everyday I'm thankful that have my uncle he's the funniest person I know! I still get a little scared to go on planes but I always do my prayers before I go on. RIP to anyone that lost any family member or friend on that horrible day. God bless them, and your family.
