I was only 7 years old. I was homeschooled and at my neighbor's house playing Monopoly with my siblings when my Mom got a call, left the room, and came back a few minutes later and turned on the TV. We were all glued to the repeat of the 1st tower being hit, then we saw the 2nd tower get hit and I my siblings and I were scared and confused. We cried all day, and as my mom and dad comforted us throughout the day, they reminded us that no matter the horrible things that happen in the world, God is always in control!

We are here in the middle hour of our grief. So many have suffered so great a loss, and today we express our nation's sorrow. We come before God to pray for the missing and the dead, and for those who love them.
