Medford, Oregon: Me and the mother of my 3 month old daughter slept in until 10 am. We showered, got ready and left to the mall to go shopping and browsing. The streets were empty! The mall was closed & confused we went next door to Target. Inside was quiet and I remember saying, 'something weird is going on.' So, we left and I figured it was just me. My girlfriends' sister called up and thats when we heard. Was very shocked and was glued to tv until late night. Then the plastic american(made in China) flags started dominating everywhere!! Businesses, cars, houses, etc.
Those who die innocent deaths never really die. They are everywhere; we just don't see them in quite the same way. And the culmination of what they were and what their death meant is as prevalent and tangible as the warmth in your soul and the sorrow in your heart.
