What I was doing on 9/11
That fateful day I was performing duties at my employment as a supervisor at the Faneuil Group in Hampton, VA. Which was contracted by Verizon to handle communication in NYC and Massachusetts. I arrived at work at 7 a.m. and started receiving a large volume of calls from NYC and MA. Especially NYC. At approximately 10 a.m. calls from NYC all of a sudden ceased...
After 11 a.m. we finally received notification that the Twin Towers and Washington DC had been attacked.
Soon both towers came down. We realized that terrorism was now not just what we see on the evening news. The sadness of loss of life increased 10 fold, then disbelief, confusion, anger, and fear.
