That fateful day I was performing duties at my employment as a supervisor at the Faneuil Group in Hampton, VA. Which was contracted by Verizon to handle communication in NYC and Massachusetts. I arrived at work at 7 a.m. and started receiving a large volume of calls from NYC and MA. Especially NYC. At approximately 10 a.m. calls from NYC all of a sudden ceased... After 11 a.m. we finally received notification that the Twin Towers and Washington DC had been attacked.

A million thoughts raced through my head. And then I witnessed the most horrific thing I've ever witnessed in my 36 years of life. A TV had been set up in the break room, and we all watched in horror as first one, then both Towers fell. I can't describe the sadness, the feeling was too intense to justify in words.
