We were living in Indiana at the time watching the two kids and we had the TV turned on and we had people calling us asking if we had knew anything else and we watched the news and we thought it was a tragic accident when the first plane hit and then when the others hit we begun to realize it was a terrorist attack.
...in the aftermath, I attended an interfaith prayer meeting that left me in awe. And I know now that though there might be a few incidents no one is proud of, we have come a long way in the fight against bigotry.
