Just another day, or so I thought…I was at home with a friend, preparing a meal, breakfast if I can recall correctly.
I was in the kitchen, when all of a sudden my boyfriend walked in (more like ran!) He said, Bevie, turn on the TV, terrorists just attacked two Buildings in New York, two Planes crashed into them!!! He, not being aware of the names of the two “Buildings” was referring to the North Tower & The South Tower of the WTC.
I had once been to New York, as a child of about 10, driving with my parents to Connecticut. And on the way, we went through New York and had to stop, so we, my twin Sister and I could use the bathroom.. And I believe we stopped where the Twin Towers were and I can remember looking up & with AWE & saying…I want to live here someday! I still want to live there..Maybe to retire as I am in my late 40’s. I collect New York shirts btw (I LOVE NEW YORK t-shirts)
