In 2001 i was 25 and i had worked at canton Fitzgerald for only 1 year. I had an apartment just a block away from the towers and i could see them in my view. For some reason that day my alarm didnt go off and what ended up waking me up was the sound of the screams, emergency vehicles and explosions. I saw the towers from a couple minutes after they were hit to after they fell. One day i aas going to work with a buddy. The next the building wasn't even there and my buddy wasnt even found.

A million thoughts raced through my head. And then I witnessed the most horrific thing I've ever witnessed in my 36 years of life. A TV had been set up in the break room, and we all watched in horror as first one, then both Towers fell. I can't describe the sadness, the feeling was too intense to justify in words.
