On 9-11,when I woke up in the morning and left for school, I had no idea that such a tragedy could take place on that day. It was unexpected, and there was no warning as to what was going to happen to our country that day. It all happened while I was in my 8th grade History class with all my classmates and the teacher, Mr. Sweatt. When he turned the T.V. on I had no idea that he put it on to show us what was happening in New York. At first when he put it to the right channel, I thought that it was just a graphic T.V. show, but when I realized it wasn’t cause Mr. Sweatt was explaining what was going on, I started to get a little scared because New York is so close to Connecticut.
I wanted my mom to come get me from school and bring me home because that’s where I would’ve felt most safe. I was frightened that the next place that a plane was going to fly was into Plainfield Central School. But it ended up in the Pentagon! I think its really sad that so many lost their lives due to a jealous man, Osama Bin-Laden, and I have so much sympathy for those who lost their loved ones. But now I think it would be best if America stuck together and worked together for the sake of our country’s sanity, happiness, and freedom.
