i was 8 mos. pregnant, and had fallen asleep the night before with the television on. i honestly thought i was dreaming… a horrible dream. then my sister called me screaming frantically, frightened to death. she thought that her city would be next. we had this instant felling that it was in fact a terrorist. for the next week we spent our days watching the coverage of the attacks on the world trade towers, and the pentagon.
my son was born a month and 14 days after 9-11. i can’t help but wonder what kind of world i have brought my children in to.
