Well turn it on NOW! This was just after the North Tower got hit. Then we sat together, by telephone, and watched as the South Tower was hit. I have never, ever been so traumatised by an image on the tv. as I was that day. A complete feeling of anguish and helplessness.
I will never ever forget it. I had travelled round the Towers by helicopter from The Battery a few years before. To think it was all gone……..
