I woke that morning in my dorm room, and for some reason, I felt the need to put the Today Show on. I laid in bed and watched, and as I was getting ready to head down the hall to take a shower, Matt Lauer came on and said there was some breaking news in NYC. I went and showered, and came back to see that the first tower was hit. As I was putting on my makeup, I turned and saw the second plane hit live. I will never forget that moment. About two seconds later, my best friend Meg called me. We spent most of our day watching TV, only leaving to get some take out food.
The most amazing thing that happened that day and the rest of the week was that our campus really came together and prayed with each other.
Just as my parents will remember the JFK shooting, I will always remember where I was on September 11, 2001.
