Just got to my desk and my patient list for my rounds (I’m a finanical counselor) in the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. I gathered my paperwork to go to the ICU third floor to talk to the family of Pastor Roy. When I got there I met the family in the family waiting room and as I approched them I could see on the television, the first glimpse of the World Trade Center with an airplane headed right for tower 2.
I could not believe what I was seeing but I remembered then my age in life (53). I have seen Kennedy get shot live, I have seen Robert Kennedy get shot live. I have seen Martin Luther King get shot live. I have seen Kent state when the four were killed in Ohio State. Then to witness Elvis dying, plus living in the Chicago area with Racial riots to the point of the police having so many jailed that they had to drive them around in 18-wheelers until morning and let them go at it again. OH THE PAIN to endure for freedom of religion for America.
I cried so much for my ten wonderful grandchildren that are coming up in these times of trouble. Oh what will we do, to keep them safe from the hands of satan? Pray without ceasing is the only answer I can come up with but that isn’t such a lost thing to do is it? Prayer changes things, for you and for me. God has his plan and it is on his schedule that we are riding, please hang on to him Jesus Christ because he and only he can place you safe on heavens shore.
May the Good Lord Bless and Keep you all forever and a day.

[by the way the Pastor Roy is here today, and well, through prayer]
