I was on my way to work; I had to drop my daughter off at my mom’s. I turned the radio on and the announcers were all excited, all talking at the same time, it was hard to understand. I picked out bits and pieces, by the time I got to my mom’s, I knew something bad was happening. I walked in the front door just in time to see the first tower fall. I had to leave to go to work, but I was in shock, my heart pounding, just a feeling of wanting to go back, get my daughter and go be safe at home. I worked in the parts department of a dealership. All the appointments that they had that day-no one showed up for. We spent most of the day in the break room watching this little tv. I guess what is really at issue here is; it doesn’t really matter where we were-we weren’t in those towers that day. The question is; have we forgotten the people that were? There are unanswered questioned that need to be addressed about that day. I will never forget those people or that day! I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I am a patriotic American who has questions about things that happened that day. If that is wrong, then this country truly is lost!
