I was invited by the former Government in August 2001 and left for Baghdad on Sept. 9, 2001. One of the first flights from Jordon to Baghdad. 2 days later I relaized I was trapped until Sept. 19 before I could return home. Most likely the only American in Baghdad on Spet. 11, 2001.
