After giving an early conference to a group of students, I went to my office at about 9 a.m. The secretary and some of my colleagues were talking about a planes crash in the WTC. Since we had no TV, I asked her to log on Yahoo or CNN. The sites gave no reply, so I thought that it had to be something big. But I thought it was an accident involving a small plane. About ten minutes later, there is talk about a hijacking of an American Airlines jet.
Hearing that gave me chills. I decided to go to the cafeteria to watch the TV. As I arrived, the first tower was collapsing.
I called it a day after that. I went home and as I was trying to come to sense with what happenned, I saw a photo of a poor lady falling headfirst. After seeing that, I couldn’t sleep for two days…
