My 9/11 experience

On the day of September 11, 2002 I was in second grade. So I don’t remember much of anything and feel bad about it, but not much could be helped at the time. One thing I do remember about the day was when I was chosen to bring the attendance sheet to the office I noticed the halls were quiet. And then I heard a T.V and being curious I went to see what was going on. I get near the door and find two teachers watching and T.V and crying. Even as a kid I could tell something was wrong and backed out of the room before they saw me. I don’t remember the rest of the day but I’m sure I wasn’t fazed much by it. I couldn’t have imagined what emotions those two teachers were going through, and to this day I still can’t but I want to say I’m sorry for everyone who lost anyone that was connected to this tragic event.
