I am a EMT in burlington county NJ. I was sleeping at the time of the attacks but my fiancee woke me up . I imediately wanted to go to NY and help, and was soon able to. On Sept 13th I had the honor of standing side by side of americas best, Police, Fire, EMS, and everyone who was involved in the rescue effort. I was only at ground zero,or the Pile as we called it but it is something I’ll never forget. what I saw that day made me realize one thing. you must live each day of your life and never take anything for granted. My memories of ground zero will live with me forever and my heart goes out to all the families who lost loved ones and all the Emergency Personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice. They will not be forgotten
