It was terrible. I don’t remember much in school except a lot of caos and screaming from my classmates. I thought world war III was about to happen. I thought I would die that day and my teacher tried to calm us down. All I could think about was my Mom and Dad. um I didn’t find out what was really going on until I got home.. my Uncle didn’t make it. I wont say his name or what tower he worked in for our safety.. I miss him.. This day makes me want to retaliate. I lost my appetite when I found out there was no hope for my Uncle.. we waited a week hoping he had just gotten lost and was searching for us or in a hospital. Being 9 years old I knew what death meant so I was like numb and in disbelief. I had to go to counseling for awhile. I drew pictures of what I saw on Tv and I drew a picture of my Uncle flying out the tower as an angel.. My mom always cries when she looks at my pictures. He was her brother.. thanks for letting me share my story. He’s always in my heart.
