I woke up my regular time,6:30am, I took a shower and then went to wake my girlfriend up. I turned on the tv as she was taking a shower. The first thing I saw was the picture
of both towers burning. I saw a caption “A SECOND PLANE HIT WORLD TRADE CENTER”

I sat there at the end of the bed and thought to myself, hmm I didnt know WTC had been hit before. Then it occurred to me, they meant the second one to hit today!!! Things have not been the same, and they won’t and if I know America like I think I do, all this will do is make us stronger than we were before and closer to our fellow Americans. Any race, any culture.
