My name is Jared Donham and I was a U.S. Army soldier serving in Kuwait. We were a 3,000 man and women mission and when we were attacked 2 months later the mission turned into a war mission and troop levels went from 3,000 to 8,000. I remember my wife coming to me after I worked on a Humvee and said we were being attacked. The President said we were in a state of war. The alarms went off and we basically went to battle stations. It was chaotic and we were all scared and said for those lost. The attacks taught me a lot about life and how precious it is and that never take it for granted. God bless all of our troops over in the desert. I too have fought the The War on Terror. I voluntered to serve in Iraq in 2003-2005. I was in a Artillery unit and changed my job to a Artillery man. I served with my unit and U.S. Special Forces 5th group. Lost friends and and served proudly. I thank all the people for there love and support for us and God bless.
