On September 11 2001 I was in high school. I was a senior at Chaminade Maddonna high in Hollywood Florida. At 9am our class, international relations, got notice that a plane had crashed into the world trade center tower in New York City. My teacher at the time, Mr. Cosgrove, had turned the tv on so that we could follow the story live. When the second tower got hit we knew that this was not an accident. I will never forget being mesmorized by the tv and thinking that this has to be the most horrible thing that I had ever seen. My emotions were out of control when footage of people jumping from the building began to air live on the screen. I will never forget that day, and the strange feeling of solidarity that envoloped just about everyone.
