I was at work that morning, and I had come down from a room and my boss said that a plain had exploded but he hadn’t heard much, so we all sat in the lobby and turned the news on. I was working at a hotel at the time and it was a slow day. As soon as the tv was turned on all we saw was a building on fire. I had not realized yet what it was… but then we were told that a plane had hit the WTC building. I was shocked. Then we watched as they showed images of the second building being hit, then the two coming down. I was in shock. A couple came through and the lady was crying. I can understand why. She had a friend that worked in the WTC and had not heard if she was ok or not. We had some men from in the Afganastan area staying there at the time and were training at a local flight school. They walked through the lobby and pointed at the screen and laughed. I was madl!! I am not sure where those guys are now. But I can remember hurting for those lost, and praying for those who were still not found. All I could ask was why and how. I will never forget that moment in time.
