The morning of September 11, 2001, I was getting ready to go to work. At the time I was working at EK, as an office manager. I lived in Providence, Utah at the time with my husband and my son. I went into my room to get ready for work when I turned on the news and found out that the Twin Towers were hit by a a terrorists group. I was in shock. I quickly picked up the phone and called my husband and parents. I told them to turn on the news and see what had just happened to the Twin Towers. They had felt shock as well. I drove to work and all I could think of was the Twin Towers being hit. I was blessed to know that I was home safely and my family was safe with me. 9/11 changed my life because, our security risks were higher. My view of Muslims did not change because I believe that there are good and bad people in all religions. I think that some good came out of 9/11 because, we grew closer as a nation.
