I wasn’t born yet on that day. My mom was only 14 years old, and she was going back home from school. Not really home but more precisely the home of a friend whose name she can’t remember. As she arrived at her friend’s home, they didn’t realize what was going on at first. My mom says they saw people jumping out of the windows and it was terrifying! She says people were calling their families, and this was sadness… My mother and her friend were dumbfounded .
At the home of my grandparents, my grandmother was cleaning the table when she heard the breaking news. My grandfather, who was watching the TV before the breaking news continued to watch, and once he understood what was happening, he called my grandmother. She sat on a chair and watched. My grandmother is sensitive, so she was crying, terrified of the attack and the people jumping out of the windows. She was worried. She couldn’t stand any more and stopped watching. My grandfather was confused but comforted her.
I wasn’t born on 2001 but I am speechless about this. I don’t know what I feel more precisely, but it’s not a good feeling. Peace to all victims.
