On September 11th 2001 I was getting ready for a doctors appointment, because I was going to have a baby any day that week. While I was doing my hair, my sister called me and told me to turn on the T.V. So I did, I turned on the news and watched for a minute. I was shocked and very confused about what had happened. Next, I called my husband and told him “The Twin Towers are being attacked!” Immediatly he came home and went to the doctors with me because I was frightened. I didn’t know anyone personally who was perished, but I did have a lot of emotion for the lives that were lost. While all of this was happening My daughter was getting ready to be born four days later. The rest of the day I watched the news praying for all those who lost loved ones. 9/11 didn’t really change my daily life or my work, because no one I knew was hurt or killed. My view of Muslims did change, because I was very confused about them. The good thing that came upon this tragedy is that people came together and helped each other.
